1962 Charity Shield vs Ipswich Town

Following Spurs historic 1960/61 Double Season, incredibly they nearly repeated the feat in the 1961/62, however newly promoted Ipswich Town beat Spurs home and away to pip Spurs to the league title. Spurs retained the FA Cup, so the two clubs met again to contest the 1962 Charity SHield at Portman Road. Spurs obtained some revenge with a 5-1 victory over Ipswich.
